For those of us who love looking at timeworn and tattered treasures tucked into dusty corners of secondhand shops… few words to learn.
Brocante: a secondhand shop specializing in vintage furniture, china, paintings,prints, needlework, books, toys and industrial materials.
Marché aux puces: a flea market typically featuring a diverse selection of merchandise.
Dépot-vente: a consignment shop.
Vide-greniers: an attic sale (a garage sale or a yard sale)
